My Group Overview

Group 2 made me realize  how self  cognizant   somebody  can be about their culture  since  it is  simple  to feel like you don’t fit into society. It  truly  is  critical   to forming   somebody  who feels  invited  and  acknowledged  for who they are and who they will  proceed  to be.  Those who have  control   impact  everything around the world which  makes  a boundary between  center  and  moo   course , which can  make  an  unbalanced   pressure   since  those in  center  and  moo   lesson  might not feel “worthy” of being in a  gathering  with  the next   progression .  This could   too  be  caught on  with the concept of  Control   Remove  which  incorporates  two positions:  Tall   Control   r...

Growing up, I was always told I was a “natural-born” leader. Back then, I used to think being a leader involved making rules, being bold, straight-forward, and assertive, but there’s so much more to it than just that. There’s even more to making a meeting than meets the eye. There’s also so much involved in something as simple as communication in groups, and we don’t even notice. In my speech class, my classmates and I were split into three groups and told to cover different chapters and make a PowerPoint presentation to summarize it. In these three presentations we were taught by our peers about topics such as group culture and communication, types of groups and their interactions, and lastly, leadership. Each group did such a amazing job explaining each section I actually learned quite a few things.  Group One talked about Communication and Culture in Groups. One of the most essential skills to have in any group is communication. Without communication, your group won’t get anywhe...

To start my blog off, I would like to applaud and give credit to each and every single participant from every group. I truly believe that everyone did amazing and that everyone took their time and put effort into polishing and making these presentations as good as possible. Although some of us might have had issues we overcame them and delivered an amazing group project. Group 1, Chapter 3             In my opinion, group 1 did not have any cons about them. This group was very well organized, and I liked the way that they carried themselves throughout their presentation. Their presentation spoke about the many factors that impact our society and how we see the people around us. I like the fact that they mentioned how discrimination is not always a physical factor and can be done in many ways. The one thing that I liked the most about this group was that they used the method of doing their presentation partly live and part...

They then quickly discussed themes like cultural identity by going over race, ethnicity, and gender. A couple of my favorite part include when they go into power distance, potential barriers, and open-mindedness. Group 2 followed up this presentation with an also amazing demonstration on chapter 9- Communicating in groups.
